I'm a blogger now?

In order to pass my Instructional Technology class with flying colors, I'm required to make a blog. Yes, I'm an avid "follower" but I never thought I would have my own blog. But, once again in my teaching journey, I have been proven wrong. Creating this blog was in no way hard for me, but mixed with the rest of my classes, trying to keep up on posting has been difficult. So here goes....

Thing #1

For this "Thing" I watched a video about the habits of learning. These habits include things such as: using technology to your advantage; having confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner; accepting responsibility for your own learning; beginning with the end in mind, etc.

The one of the habits that I would consider "hardest" for me would be having confidence in myself has a competent, effective learner. I'm a doubter. I always second guess myself. I'm always telling myself that I can't do something, when really, it wouldn't be too hard. This happens in every class for me, I procrastinate until the last minute because I just don't want to have to work on something. I'm getting the hang of it better.

The habit that I would consider "easiest" for me would be using technology to my advantage. I'm the girl that is always finding new websites or apps to make my life easier and make things more understandable. I think for many in my generation, technology is second nature.

I've written a novel now. Oops. Done now :) Have a great day!

xoxo, k
