Thing #2

So I just realized that I'm totally not creative and will probably be naming my posts based off the assignment. How boring lame is that? I guess this post could be titled something more fancy, like "The Divine Creation" (even that sucks), but I'm not in the mood to be creative...

I decided to name my blog "Teaching's a Journey" because that's exactly what my college career has been. One. Long. Journey. It's been a roller coaster. It's been the bumpiest, most curvy road I've ever endured. But it's been an amazing journey. I have met people along the way that I wouldn't trade anything in the world for. I've had experiences that some people may never get to have. I have learned lessons (many the hard way) that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. But now that I have nestled myself in and have my life under control (for the time being), I can sit back and really take in all that this journey has given me. So I thought that title was nothing but fantastic for this particular time in my life.

Now creating it... Was it hard? Not a bit. It actually was quite easy for me. I just played around with things, experimenting to find what I liked best. Over many years of experience with technology, I have learned that if you do something and aren't pleased, there's usually a way of undoing it. This was my blog-creating motto.

About the avatar. Aren't these things ugly? They're horrid. However, I just put on a green shirt (my favorite color) and some khakis (which I never wear, but weren't as ugly as the potential jeans). My usual style. And Fourbucks Starbucks. Ohhh how I love my coffee. Not necessarily spending $4 on a simple latte, but whatever. It's all the same.

I guess I can't post without writing a novel. Sorryboutit.
xoxo, k

  1. I find it hard to not write a novel when I post as well, but your novel was very amusing. I wish you well on the rest of your journey and keep up the great post's.

  2. It does not surprise me that this was easy for you, because you excel in the classroom as well. This is why I sit next to you in class. It is probably because I am older and using all this technology does not come naturally to me, but with your help, I will soon be a techno expert like you. Great post and great job in class. I think the avatar looks like you by the way, and you do always have coffee in your hand. Life is most certainly a journey, and I am glad to be along for the ride. I think you will be a great teacher, I am proof. Have a great day! See you in class!

  3. I agree, the avatars could have had a little more appeal to them! I was trying desperately to find something that did not make me look "horrid" as you put it! I also find it hard to not write a book each time I post. I am constantly going back and editing and taking things out or adding and it drives me crazy! We will all get the hang of it soon enough!
